Rio Grande City is the Starr County seat and one of the oldest settlements in South Texas, roughly 100 miles from both Brownsville and Laredo. It is the western edge of our standard travel schedule, at a flat $79 round trip.
What shows up: nine gaming stations, six 50" Hisense QD7 MiniLED displays, a 65" outdoor screen, Dolby Atmos, and a climate-controlled interior. A host runs it.

Downtown & the Historic District
The town started as Rancho Davis in 1847 and took its current name when it became the county seat. Older downtown blocks run narrow, so a parking photo matters more here than most places.

Fort Ringgold
Established in 1848 immediately next to the town, and the reason Rio Grande City took hold. The grounds around it are open and flat.

Rio Grande City CISD
Rio Grande City High School and the Rattlers anchor the district. School visits open all 10 gaming stations and run on timed 30-minute rotations.

The International Bridge
Rio Grande City is a port of entry connected by bridge to Camargo, Tamaulipas. The commercial area around it has the widest, flattest lots in town.

Neighborhoods Off US-83
Most of the newer housing sits back from the highway with generous driveways, which is where our 35 feet of clear space is easiest to find.

We come the length of the Valley to get here, so we plan Starr County dates around a single trip rather than squeezing them between closer bookings.
